Concept2 RowErg

The Gold Standard…

The RowErg has become the standard for rowing programs and athletes worldwide. Our powerful Performance Monitor provides consistent, comparable results, meaning you can track your own progress, as well as compare your times with others. This comparability is why events and races around the world rely on the RowErg, and why our Online Ranking contains over a million results across different times and distances.

“The Concept2 RowErg was an integral part of my World and Olympic preparations for over 20 years of my life at the highest level of competition. Our program combined a mix of near daily indoor rowing, which allowed us to set a benchmark in the sport of rowing that still stands today. Now that I am retired, I still use it daily as a tool for great all-round fitness.”

Eric Murray, eight-time World Champion and double Olympic Gold Medalist

…For Everyone

Whether your goal is general fitness, weight control or preparing for the Olympics, the RowErg will help you achieve it. The low-impact movement works every major muscle group, delivering an efficient, effective workout that other exercises simply can’t. Our flywheel design puts you in control of your workout intensity, making the RowErg suitable for home users, elite athletes, and everyone in-between.

“I love the monitor and all the options and the more I use ErgData the more sophisticated I find it. I think the logbook is the addiction for me. Being able to see the data, having the option of going deep on a workout or looking at my monthly or weekly data, these motivate me to keep coming back. I find ways to improve or set new goals.”

Track Your Progress With ErgData

ErgData is our free app for iOS and Android devices that connects to the Performance Monitor. You can choose to erg together with other members of the community on the Real Time Loop, our virtual course that is always open. You can set up workouts straight from ErgData and store them as favorites; take part in the Concept2 Workout of the Day; view additional live information during workouts; track and analyze your progress and more.

Or Choose From Over 40 Other Apps

With our open-platform monitor you have plenty of apps to choose from, in addition to ErgData. These apps offer a range of features and functions, including live and on-demand classes, virtual racing, training programs and more.

“I just wanted to let you know how much I love the Real Time Loop! I’ve rowed on the loop three times now in  the past couple of days and it’s so much fun. I look forward to more people learning about it and joining in.”

One Machine, Two Heights

The RowErg is available with either standard or tall legs. The standard legs give a 14-inch (36 cm) seat height while the taller legs place the seat 20 inches (51 cm) from the floor. The higher frame means easier on-and-off for those with tired knees or mobility considerations, but is not required for taller users, and both machines will fit inseams up to 38 inches (96.5 cm). Rowers with an inseam longer than this may require our extra-long monorail.

Durable and Low Maintenance

Our machines are famous for their construction quality. Built to withstand rigorous use in gyms, boathouses, and homes around the world, we also make sure our machines are easy to care for, so you can focus on using your investment, not maintaining it.

“Just wanted to drop you folks a line and say thank you for the great service you have given me over the years! I love that you continue to support old ergs like my Model C. I bought it used back in 2009 and have put a few million meters on it over the years. When I oiled my chain today I noticed that it was a bit rusty, so I went on the site to see if I could buy a replacement. Not only is there a replacement, but you sell an upgrade kit for the new quieter mechanism! Please keep doing what you’re doing, we really appreciate great customer service in an age where planned obsolescence is the norm!”
